S4A is 1BA’s new project that seeks to discover and inspire engineering science potentials in rural Ghana.

S4A targets 5 schools, 20 science teachers and 1000 school children in Hwediem of
the Asutifi South District in the Ahafo Region of Ghana over a 2-year period.

S4A in Hwidiem is a 2-year Engineering X programme founded by 1Billion Africa in partnership between the Royal Academy of Engineering and Lloyd’s Register Foundation.
Other project partners include; DEXT Technologies, Sankofa Mentorship Hub- Synergies Institute, D S Dayta Solutions, Nana Attaa Adwoa II Foundation.
